DEFY CAMP DECEMBER 2009
On December 4th and 5th, The SHINE Program hosted its first DEFY (Drug Education for Youth) Camp. The SHINE Program collaborated with multiple organizations in the community. During the DEFY Camp children from the Carver Park area participated in a weekend full of educational and physical activities to build self image.
DEFY participants, participated in their first 5K which was hosted by the City of Yuma Parks and Recreation. The DEFY Camp was a great success. Click on the pictures Icon bellow to view pictures of the CAMP. A special thank you to all organizations that assisted with this camp:
