Philip Steers –
Finance Manager; Housing Authority City of Yuma

Philip Steers joined the Housing Authority City of Yuma (HACY) as its Finance Manager in June 2007.  Under the direction of the Executive Director, Mr. Steers is responsible for all financial recording and reporting activity for HACY. 

Prior to joining the Housing Authority City of Yuma, Mr. Steers worked in Atlanta, Georgia for Rector, Moffitt, & Lindsay PC as an Auditor for three years.  He was responsible for auditing and working on audits of many Housing Authorities across the United States, including Las Vegas, NV, Portland ME, Brockton, MA, Waycross, GA, Meridian, MS, Elizabethton, TN, Greensboro, NC, Columbia, SC, Fort Worth, TX, & Raleigh, NC.

Mr. Steers received a Master of Business Administration from the Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Letourneau University.

Mr. Steers is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Arizona & Texas  Mr. Steers is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) & and associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
